Improving Your Experience

This #GRID Series will run over five rounds and will be a different event format for each round. Round Five is set out in our Chase the Ace format: Drivers will compete in a 5-minute practise session, followed by a hot lap qualifying session to determine the starting grid positions. This is followed by a 45-minute non-stop race. Race against the best at your local track to find out who is the greatest in your weight category. It’s time to sharpen your skills ahead of the British Indoor Karting Championship and see who will be crowned the #GRID Series’ winners!

This is a race experience for Race Academy members who have completed our Race Academy program. Each driver will complete 10-minute practise followed by a 20-minute non-stop race. During the race, drivers must complete two pit-stops with off-track challenges. The winners are determined by a combination of their finishing race position and the results of their challenges. Every driver will complete 10-minute practise followed by 15-minute qualifying and a 30-minute grid-started race. Drivers must complete a kart change in the pit lane, during the course of the race. Race against the best at your local track to find out who is the greatest in your weight category.

A new format based on a short qualifying session followed by 3 sprint races, using a different grid selection process for each heat. Points are scored for finishing positions. The driver with the highest number of points wins the event.

This event takes place on the Members Track! The member's track is a combination of BOTH the tracks at TeamSport Reading and is EXCLUSIVE to members. Stretching over Three Floors and over 700m of Racing Line! The Member's Track is the ideal complement for our Exclusive Member events!

This is run in the traditional fashion over 3 x 15 minute sessions for members only. This is a great format for introducing new members to #GRID events and it is a great idea to have an instructor on hand to give tuition to newer or less confident members on track.

An awesome format where drivers are paired together for racing. 10-minute qualifying session followed by a 30-minute race using a reverse grid, the team with the most points win the event.

5-minutes practise and qualifying session followed by a 45-minute race. During the race, drivers must complete two pit-stops with off-track challenges. The winners are determined by a combination of their finishing race position and the results of their challenges.

This event is run over four heats. Each heat is 15-minutes long and features randomised grid starts for each race there is no formal practice or qualifying for this event. Points are allocated for finishing positions of each of the four heats. The total points at the end of the event will determine the overall results and therefore the podium.

10-minute practise, followed by a three stage F1-style qualifying. Every driver then competes in 2 x 20-minute grid-started races where F1-style points are awarded. The winner is determined by the highest number of points.

Warm up with a 5-minute practise, followed by a hot lap qualifying session to determine the starting grid positions. This is followed by a 45-minute non-stop race, where drivers battle it out to come the next “Ace”!

Compete in a 5-minute qualifying session, followed by a 60-minute grid-started race. During the last 30 minutes of the race a “police kart” will be released. Anyone overtaken by the “police kart” is eliminated!
